LOAD catchup

I've been scrapping every day for the May LOAD, but scanning and uploading is another story. Maybe I'll stick to digi layouts once I get my page kits and unfinished pages done. I also had to make 4 Mother's Day and 3 birthday cards last night for this weekend, plus I still need to make an anniversary card and design some baby announcements for when #2 arrives - I guess I forgot May is a busy month around here!

This is a layout redo. It started out as a 12x12 back when I still scrapped that size. I took it apart two years ago, and it sat in the pile of Incomplete until this week. Finishing up these Manhattan 2000 layouts is giving me a huge sense of accomplishment, plus making me nostalgic and weepy. Gotta love pregnancy hormones!

Another redo from 12x12. I had to scan and downsize some of the larger museum handouts to make this work, but I like the finished layout.

This was my brainstorm on how to handle our itinerary/travel journal. Since we're both all anal and techie, we almost always have a written itinerary BEFORE a trip, and then a written in the moment journal from DURING the trip, and I've procrastinated scrapping them because I didn't have a neat solution. This is a 7.75x3, double-sided parchment paper journal, held together by a large brad. LOVE it, so I'm saving it as a Word template for future trip journals. Maybe now I"ll finally scrap our honeymoon journal.

Hi Bree-
Just wanted to thank you for your comments about my daughter on my blog.
I do know there are more kind people out there than the ones we ran into yesterday...you just proved that to me :)
Have a great day!

Very cool! I still need to work on my trip to NYC(went there two years ago). I'm planning on doing mine in an 8 x8 album.
